01Overview

Yummy Doors is a complete food delivery app built as part of the Yummy ecosystem. Customers discover nearby restaurants, browse menus, order for delivery or pickup, book a table and follow their order live until it reaches the door.

02Problem

Restaurants on Yummy POS needed a direct channel to reach customers online, and customers wanted one app to find food nearby, compare offers, order from more than one place and know exactly when their food will arrive — without calling the restaurant to ask.

03Solution

A Flutter app for Android and iOS that covers the whole delivery journey. A home feed and a map view surface nearby restaurants with ratings, delivery times, open / closed status and offers, with filters, sorting and voice search. Restaurant pages offer delivery, pickup and table booking with recommended dishes, and a multi-restaurant cart keeps separate baskets per restaurant. After checkout, live tracking shows the arrival window, the assigned rider (with call and WhatsApp contact) and each step from confirmed to preparing, picked up and on the way. Because it sits in the Yummy ecosystem, orders flow into the same backend restaurants already use with Yummy POS.
